Ask HN: What's a mundane task you've deeply optimized for no reason?
Not the “big wins” like taxes or time tracking — I’m talking about the weird small things. For example, I’ve fully optimized how I clean my desk cables. A friend of mine wrote a bash script just to open his daily playlists.
These things save maybe 30 seconds a day, but we obsess over them anyway.
